I've done this for several vehicles including a westfalia and a karmann ghia cabriolet and after some 20 years of doing so have come to the conclusion that there is no real clear benefit that outweighs the costs of starting a vehicle on monthly basis when that vehicle is in short term storage(eg less than 5 months of the year).
Several caveats apply. First I think there is a difference between the treatment a car should get in short term versus long term storage. Long term storage involves a host of other factors including contracting or cracking seals, moisture from the foor, paint deterioration, sidewall cracking and sunlight exposure, animals, acid build up in the oil and so on which you are not likely to see in short term storage. I don't know if this extends to ac units which I understand need to be run occasionally regardless.
In short term storage and especially if you live in a very cold climate the vehicle needs to be brought up to operating temperature. This takes time, pollutes the atmosphere, puts moisture into your exhaust system and so on and there is going to be wear and tear on the engine from a dry start. If you just turn the vehicle over there might be some benefit but its not certain this helps. In a warmer climate warmups may take less time.
What I do now is simply put in a low amp solar charger to keep the battery up and leave the vehicle over the winter untouched.
My advice is to not start your car until springtime when you are ready to put it back on the road.
