One way that you can check the controller box that operates the O2 sensor is with a weak AA battery(1 or 1.2 volts). Find the green wire that the O2 sensor is plugged into. This wire leads back into the control box. Hold the battery positive side to the wire and ground the other to the engine. With engine running at temp. This should cause the engine to lean out the mixture and stumble. Next, taking the same wire and without, the battery, and ground just it to ground. This should cause the engine to become very rich in it's mixture. If this checks out to be fine the controller box is fine and if the O2 sensor shows voltage than I would try adding one to two bottles of "Thecron" to the gasoline. One per. tankful. How old are the spark plugs? Check the O2 sensor wire unplugged and revving the engine might show more voltage. You can try the Cherri red heating of the sensor. This is how some people recondition them.
