Thanks guys...
No noise in the bearings, with the tire/rim, the axis has enough momentum for both sides to spin ~5-10 times...at 169 each, it is easy to convince me that it can wait. However at 69 each, rear calipers seemed too cheap to pass up ( eeuroparts ). That company keeps my SAAB going.
So I did not know that the front trailing arm has a bracket just like the front lower arms: nice!
I've been under there all evening replacing calipers and track rod bushings...but can only see the bolt that goes thru the trailing arm bushing, not the housing...
I was thinking of the two-jack thing too, thanks for confirmation that this works.
At other times, I have dropped the other bushings I have pressed in into boiling water for 10 minutes, and then used soap...Nice
