My 87/9000 has the same oiling tube set-up! Can you tell me if it's possible to remove them with-out ruining the old tubes. I plan on doing a maintenance head-gasket job while doing service to the old engine. Be careful on your car, to get any loose seal/o-ring material from the holes. Don't want to clog to oil passages. My 91/900s always chatters with start-up and takes 5 min. to quite down, whereas my 92/900 turbo doesn't chatter at all. They both have the upgraded heads with internal oiling passages. Guess the only way to determine why, is to attach an oil pressure gauge an see what the pressure show upon start-up. Maybe its just plain old engine wear and the oiling system doesnt build enough pressure when the engines cold?
