agree....I got 285K off mine....also still has machining marks on cylinder walls. You have to run them out of oil or abuse them to do much to the bottom ends, they are very well overengineered. For my "new" motor I renewed main and rod bearings without grinding the crank, did a light hone of the 88 block I got, replaced the pistons and rings and have a killer motor now!!!
