Although I am not exactly new to saabs, I am rather new to doing my own mechanical work. Bentley is ordered and on its way, Now I am wondering what you guys think would be the "essential" tool kit to start with?
I have lots of carpentry tools, and am pretty handy/mechanically inclined, but would appreciate some advice here on what I may need to start getting my hands dirty- starter replacement, bearing replacements, etc.
My intent is to better understand my '86 spg, and very gradually bring it back as close to its original condition as I can.
