For dismantling front drive axles in a yard, I take along a couple of pieces of 4 x 4, a bottle jack a 3.5 lb hammer. When you remove the 32 mm axle nut, smack the end of the axle a couple of times to make certain it is free. I then utilise the bottle jack with a length of the wood on the jack to raise the suspension. Use the 32 mm nut as your spacer. Unscrew the clamp on the inner driver & disconnect the inner joint there. Take along the procedures outlined in the Townsend website regarding axle removal. That site may be able to help you on other questions.
