sometimes the seal between the exhaust side of the turbocharger and the air intake allows oil from the cooling bearing to get blown into the intake and/or the exhaust side. then when it warms up some the oil burns out much quicker and isn't notices. A couple of drops go a long way toward making smoke.
Also, is the Saab Lingo "check valve" everyone else lingo "PCV valve" installed and working? direction should be from valve cover towards the throttle body *and* it should allow flow to pass in only that direction. put a clean piece of vacuum line on it and blow through it to see if it does pass air and only in one direction.
Let us know how it is going?
