Had my 88 convert auto changed over to manual a couple of years ago and now the throttle cable is going/gone. Went to buy online from the UK (much cheaper freight from the UK to me in Australia than $77 freight from the US)a manual cable and the guy correctly asked me whether it was auto or manual. I rang the mech and he said that they left it as a automatic cable. The manual cable was $15 and the auto was $130...phew, for wire and grommet end cap stuff? So, anyone know how difficult and fiddly it is to swap the cables over? Thanks.
