thanks everyone for the info. i have learned something about saabs again today...
i did check ander's post(s) about this, and he states that he never uses/checks the ohms setting on the amm when checking/adjusting the fuel mixture, as this test does not distinguish a bad from a good amm. rather he says to check for voltage swing across the test plug near the power steering resevoir. then if necessary adjust the fuel mixture until the voltage swing is correct.
where is this adjustment? is he talking about the screw on the AMM?
