For whatever reason when the winter hits (or cool dense air) the turbo boost all the way up to the red line. However in the summer it hits about 3/4 boost.
New:
Coil
Cap/Rotor
Catalytic converter
Water sensor temp
Knock sensor
Fuel pumps (main & feeder)& filter
Red Box APC configuration
3.0 FPR BAR
02 sensor
Solenoid valve clicks...swapped a few just in case and nothing changed
Indy tested turbo and indicated PSI on boost was right on
Run Techron about every 5k through the system
Turbo transducer 93-42-064 was replaced with a used one
No issues with cruise control
I perfectly understand cool dense air produces ideal performance conditions. Having that said, it used to have the same boost characteristics in ALL seasons. Regardless it runs fantastic (on super gas). I just wonder what is going on in the summer to keep the turbo below the same boost as winter. The only thing I can think of is AMM or AMM setting.
