good advance off boost, you won't see good numbers. the apc will just cut you back, which is what you see. your apc is working perfectly. Jak mentioned once how he set his timing using the apc to show him the limit-once the boost starts getting unstable, tweak it back a bit. but first you need to get some extra retard in, beyond the 5 degrees stock. search on modifying the retard stop. then set the timing with 10 psi or so on the capsule, at approx 10 degrees BTDC. then trim with the apc doing the work for you, being careful to mark the distributor as you go, and don't move it too much away from the 10 point. also, do single pulls, then rest the intercooler for a while, so as not to confuse the operation.
did you get the later (10 bar?) intercooler and pipes in? Not much difference, but some.
