you will need to have the car completely off the ground to manuver the rack out, really really study the Bentley. that bit about steering all the one to one side rotating the rack and then steering all the way to the other side... it's necessary. there are two hoses with threaded fittings, one to a union at the right side motor mount, and then that one wraps back to the power steering pump. there is a low pressure supply line to the pump that uses regular hose clamps on both ends. the other threaded hose comes from the rack and goes back to the resivour. The crritical hose is the one from the pump, it's sometimes difficult to remove, and other times easy. lots of pb blaster and use flare wrenchs. Both of these threaded hoses, and the two that run to the other side of the rack all thread in next to the steering box. The other bia-tch is getting the pinch bolt back in and doing it with the rack/steering wheel straight.

IF YOU HAVE AN AIR BAG REMOVE THE BATTERY CONNECTION, AND DON'T PUT IT BACK in place until everything is done. you don't want to throw a code (SRS light) or worse trigger the bag (remote change but easy to ensure it won't happen).
