A lot of us on the NG900 board own or have owned C900's so there's not anyone knocking them. I've owned a '68 Stroker (back in the day), 7 C900's and 4 9000's and in comparison my '98 NG900SE (5 speed)is every bit as much of a Saab as any of them. It's faster, smoother, and quieter than any stock C900 I've ever driven. And it's flat out the cheapest, most reliable Saab I've ever owned (you never hear anyone on the NG900 board talking about transmissions because they just don't ever break). And yes, because it's a fairly conventional layout mechanically, a lot more mechanics can and will work on them. Whenever I hear anyone making with the "GM car" routine I know it's becaused they never owned or probably even driven one. C900's are delightful, charming, unusual cars but the truth of the matter is that every single Saab built (not badged) in the last 15 years is better at just about every criterion one uses to measure cars than a C900. I like the C900 and will probably get another. But newer Saabs are also very nice cars. We're not knocking on you, so I'm not sure why you feel compelled to knock on us.
