I've rebuilt about a dozen and they all lasted for years. Maybe it's because they don't get as much internal moisture in Calif. I've only seen one with a corroded bore. I change out the seals from the inside. I take out the knee bolster. Drop the pedal. Be careful with the cruise switch if you it. It's easy to crack the plastic tabs. A 45 degree pair of snap ring pliers are helpful but I've done it with staight pliers. A towel for spillage is good although not a lot comes out. Here's the key. After install and fluid top up, try bleeding by pumping the pedal with halfway strokes. Don't go all the way to the floor and do it at least 50 times. This will bubble the air in the master up the feed hose into the brake resevoir. If that fails to give you pedal, you'll need to bleed the system.Check cruise switch adjustment before bolter goes back in.
