paint oxidation removal???

I recently bought a 91T that has the original white paint on it. Unfortunately it has spent a lot of time in the sun and the paint has oxidized, and also has some petrified tree sap. Being a Colorado car, it still has a lot of paint on it and you can see the shine through the oxidation in parts. What's the "professional" way to bring it back? Are there any one step treatments out there or am I going to have to polish and wax? What about rubbing compound on the worst areas? I have a power buffer.
Thanks!
