I'm betting this is a common failure point as it's the lowest place in the back seat area so these comments may apply to someone in the future. This is not a difficult fix (at least I'm hoping it's fixed). Maybe two hours and a trip to O'Reilly and HF Tools. Definitely take out the bottom of the rear seat not only for ease of access, but to peal back the carpet. Since it's so easy, one could have taken out the front seat too, but not necessary. Disconnect all the white clips connecting the two lines together. I used alcohol to clean the flares after cutting and flaring; I should have cleaned the ends of the in-situ line immediately after cutting as I'm concerned the crud might have affected the quality of the flare. Now to bleed and fingers crossed that the fix worked and that I don't bust any zerks.
