Interesting observation about car problems on the internet. I find it to hold true, now that you mention it. Let's just say SAABs do not suffer fools gladly. They'll bite ya if you're an idiot, whereas a GM or Toyota will just keep on limping through the pain of having a clueless owner.
I found Bougicords very cheap ($44 for the set) at FCP, actually, so I'll hopefully squelch this light show once and for all. Good alternative to Eeuro, for what it's worth, especially since Eeuro only stocks the '88-'89 style, with long coil wire. Although ordering from there did make me feel a bit like a Bimmer guy.
I'll stick some new NGK plugs in for good measure. I can't believe I didn't touch the ignition system for seven years. I've been through one oxygen sensor, an inner driver, all the ball joints, timing chain tensioner, crank pulley, rear shocks and springs, a whole cooling system, a few antennas, and I have a rotating pile of AMMs that I change out just for fun. Just never had traceable spark problems until now! Just never looked for them until now...
