So the car barely made it home. It stalled out several times and was VERY jerky in 2nd and 3rd gear particularly and eventually up into 4th gear. It would lose power altogether while in gear and despite my foot pressing the pedal to the floor, there would be no acceleration.
Shifting the car to neutral it would idle fine, if a little high, but putting it into gear elicited a jerky acceleration.
By the time I made it home, the car was idling very high. It almost seems like the timing is all wonky.
Does this sound like more confirmation that the ECU is shot?
Is there a good source for the ECU modules. Is ebay the best bet?
