Just replaced a leaking slave recently... that I had rebuilt 9 months earlier. All three O-rings had swelled to become sponge rubber instead of being hard. No evidence of tranny oil leakage at 9-month old clutch shaft seal or at slave mounting bolts (used Hyalomar). Also replaced throwout bearing, since old one had its grease washed out by brake fluid. (Empty quart of brake fluid found in car) Front pressure seal on clutch master cylinder was also failing allowing piston to scrape the cylinder wall. So replaced master too. Used the three fat nut method to compress pressure plate to get spacer into the finger springs, and again to remove spacer to avoid blowing out new slave piston. Reverse bled fluid from a syringe at the slave to get air out of line and master. Too bad clutch jobs on NG900 aren't this easy.
