Yeah the rubber coil cover is on good and tight. I do like the idea of a higher-performance coil and maybe I'll get one eventually, but at the same time I know that it should run just fine with the OEM parts. That, and the fact that it runs great when I first put on the new parts.
Is there something about a bad coil that would contribute to a quick decline in distributor, wires, or plug performance?
I thought that with coils they generally work or they don't (Ohms test). How would you identify a bad coil?
