Yeah, it wasn't easy to get in and out, but I managed to do it without *too* much trouble. I ended up taking out the APC controller, LH corner light, cruise control pump, ignition amp, and the two pneumatic switches (cruise/turbo and upshift light). After that it wasn't too tough to snake out of the hole. Gave me a chance to clean out the inner fender area too -- quite a bit of sediment in the bottom...
Anyway, as it says in my other post I was able to fix the diaphragm, but I suspect that'll just be temporary. Since I'm apparently a glutton for punishment, when I have a little more time I'm going to pull the thing out again and put a little more robust fix on the diaphragm. I think I can bond a little shim to the periphery of it to clamp it a little better and keep it from collapsing into the hole. I also got some new activated charcoal to refill the thing, so it should be as good or better than new.
