The local NAPA stores have their house synthetic on sale for $3.50 every couple months. Keep a case or two around. Use it in all the fleet-turbos and non turbos. Avoids confusion when topping up. Even feed it to the sister-in-law's Buick. That way I can run the change frequency out to 6-7000 miles. Motocraft filters from Wally Land. Comment on synthetic: My 1st turbo was a 1987. Soon after acquiring I did a valve cover gasket. Noted dark brown crusty buildup on the valve cover and timing chain galley. Used synthetic oil for several years. Had the valve cover off about 50K later. Most of the deposits were gone
