First off, I don't see any reason you shouldn't use mobil's current 0w40, it looks like a fine oil.
I've included links to the manufacturer datasheets below. Take a look at the cold temp, hot temp, and high-temp-high-sheer ratings of your oil. Particularly, notice that the 0w40 mobil is exactly the same weight at 40C as the 10W30 GTX.
I assume the oil you are using:

The benchmark, GTX (I regard as a good quality for mineral oil, but I don't use mineral oil in my cars unless I have a specific reason to):
