CBS,
if it was the ignition switch to be giving you troubles with the +54 or +15 bus(es) output, then you'd have more than inoperative wipers and batt light - 75% of your car would not be working then. So in two words: хренотень какая-то.
And I'm not sure I understand the wires you re-seated. I don't think you're going to go there again just to read the #IDs printed on the wires (until '94 every Saab wire had it's alphanumeric identification like a number and - in some cases - a suffix). I can't identify the wires you mentioned using your description, but there can be only either +30 or X or +15 or +54 or +50 or S+ ones. It isn't the +30 (it's the incoming power bus from battery), it isn't the +50 line (which only runs the starter solenoid), and it's hardly S+ or X ones which are only used for accessories like radio or burglar alarm.

If I were you I would definitely not consider the issue to be resolved and would keep on digging until I understand where it's coming from. If you're sure it was one of those two wires you re-seated, then you'd better go there again and sequentially, one after another unplug those wires and check your stalks and lights and buttons to confirm that with that wire off your car operates just the same way it operated when it misbehaved that week ago.
