Rotate the torque converter while pushing it toward the front motor mount. At a certain point it will slip into a slot moving it just enough to give you the needed clearance to lift the engine. Also rotate the newly located TC so that the timing plate numbers are horizontal to the trans case so the thin, aluminum, number plates don't get hung up or bent on the way out.
