So the engine only has maybe 10 miles on it. New rings new bearings. I honed out the block. I'm hoping it's the turbo. My wife says it seems to be white smoke. There's no antifreeze in it just water for now until I make sure there's no leaks. Doesn't seem to be anything in the oil but we don't have any miles on the car either. Turbo is used. I'm wondering if the internal seal for the antifreeze side of the turbocharger is bad. When the turbo was sitting on the bench and no oil in it it seemed fairly loose but as soon as I put oil in it it seemed to tighten it up quite a bit. Can you do a compression test on a brand new motor or will that kind of give you a false read .
