I wasn't aware of the difference so I guess I actually deglazed the block. At least from what I just looked up. I believe it was a 150 grit Dingle ball. I have 175 compression on all four cylinders with only about 5 mi on the motor. I'm still up in the air what I want to do first. I am waiting on a leak down test kit. As soon as I play with that I'll get a better idea of what's going on. So if it was a valve stem seal would it just smoke the whole entire time. When the engines cold after about maybe a minute or two it starts smoking it seems to be whitish in color. The turbo is definitely questionable it seemed a little loose. I've never had a bad valve stem in 20 some odd years of driving these cars, always something new isn't it. It would be odd that it's a head gasket since it's brand new. So after I do the leak down test I'll make a decision. Relating towards sending the turbo off to be rebuilt. I don't have a spare one just laying around that I can at least throw in there. We'll post a follow up in a couple of days the leak down test kit will be here tomorrow night.
