Hello,
I think that is the correct ignition module for a 90 to 94 turbo. earlier turbo's used an ignition module ending in 139 and most of the NA cars used a module ending in 124. The signal from the hall effect sensor goes to the ignition module and then it goes from there to the coil, the tsi test socket and the engine control module. If you have no fuel, no injector pulse and no spark you issue is most like the hall effect sensor or the ignition module. I unplug the connecter at the dizzy and use a jumper wire to create a false signal with the key on. If the injectors click the issue is not with the hall effect. If they are quiet I will disconnect the coil wire at the cap and see if I have spark. If you have spark the issue is not the ignition module. If there is no spark the ignition module is the problem. In all those conclusions it is possible that a wiring issue is the problem.
As far as using the jumper wire to create a signal. Install one end of the jumper into a terminal on the harness end of the dizzy connector. Then quickly touch another terminal a half dozen times. I can't remember which 2 wires todo it with but I just repeat the process several times on each wire combination. I have never damaged anything with this method. One other possible issue is the ignition switch if it is failing and not providing a full 12v to the +15 circuit you won't have success. One other possible issue if you have spark but no fuel clean the grounds on the intake manifold. The engine control module is grounded there and is known to not get turned on if the grounds are too weak. Any other questions or ones created from this post just ask. Good Luck, Bernie
