The banter on this question was almost as interesting as the rice boy stuff the other day.

Put a muffler on it, man. Your project sounds like it's going to be a rocket. Don't screw it up by offending everyone within half a mile with the noise.

There is an engineer in Sandy, UT you may wish to speak to. He sells exhaust stuff under the name Dr Gas. His name is Boyd Butler. I can't think of the business name but I'm sure you can surf him down (he came up with a tuned, syncronized crossover for v8's that all the nascar teams use now).
