Hi Guys,
I just happen to be looking for some advise on the same subject. I have a 1990 9KT 2.0 and i am in the middle of replacing the head gasket. although i have no leaks with the original waterpump or oil seal everyone seams to be telling me that i better replace them! i have the water pump off and a new one on the way but i've stopped at the oil pump seal. looks like a big job and i don't currently have a leak. my question is, is it really worth the extra couple of hours and trying to get that pulley off for nothing??? or is it a "must do"? my car has about 150K on it and the timing belt reads 10mm so i thought... hmm do the whole shabang now but now i'm leaning towards just replace the head gasket. please let me know your advice.
Thanks,
Dave
