I have been pouring lexol on my seats for a couple of years. Lexol made a great improvement in the suppleness of the leather, and smells good also. Lexol is primarily known for use with saddles/tack and seems to be cheaper at the tack shops than as a car care product.
However, the last time I went to the tack shop to get Lexol, I asked about other leather care products. The owner of the store recommnened Stubben leather conditioner. This conditioner (Stubben Hamanol) is expensive and stinky, but it works amazingly well. It comes in a tube and I have been squirting small amounts into my hand and working it into the leather seats. The seats feel vastly better than they ever have in the time that I've owned the car.
I am going to continue to use Lexol regularly and this stuff occasionally. The only cautions I have about it are that it appears to have made my tan seats slightly darker, and it stinks. The color difference is not dramatic or displeasing, and I am not sure if the color is really different or if the leather just looks more vibrant. As I said, the seats really look great.
