You have to start with measuring the fuel pressure and how fast the pressure builds up. It should reach around 30-40 PSI in just a second or two when cranking the engine with zero pressure to start with.
After that it's a matter of how the coolant sensor works, and airmassmeter.
Another important thing is how the compression is and the vacuum in the engine. Around 150PSI in a Turbo is ok, but could differ a lot depending on your comp test gauge. 15-18 inch/hg is ok on idle for vacuum.
