Is the tach bouncing while cranking? that kind of iliminates ignition if it is. The check valve for the fuel pump could be failed allowing the fuel system to drain back into the tank.Crack a fuel line a couple of minuites after shut down, there should be some residual pressure. Have you checked your fuel pressure regulator for leaks? Just pull the vacume line off the intake, it should be dry. A bad FPR can dump unmetered fuel right into the intake. Also check the fuel pump relay maybe? Pull the glove box and hold a finger on the relay. you should be able to feel it click real soon after you start cranking. If it waits to "click" and then the car starts something is not telling it to turn on like it should be. Just some quick thoughts.
