Well, everything is possible, but you need a pressure gauge and an adapter that fits into the fuelrail banjo bolt fitting. And you need a vacuum gauge for the other measurement.
I think I mentioned some time earlier that it takes a skilled honest mechanic about 1 to 2 hours to go over the basic and adjust most of the stuff needed when it comes to cold start problems and many running problems . ( A dishonest unskilled mech could take most of your money + retirement fund and still not come up with a solution)
What it also comes down to is being able to translate all the different data collected, that's where the skill comes into play. If you have seen enough of pressure and vacuum readings together with Volt/resistance readings, you can piece by piece put certain things away as properly working and go for the next step in the fault tracing procedure.
Todays cars are so sensitive for mis adjustements and vacuum leaks compared to the big V8's in the 70's. In the 80's it started to become crucial to have everything properly adjusted and hooked up.
