Ari, I have been able to check the pump today and it is very quiet. It is not being activated or it is dead. I got an electrician to check the pump switch which SAAB Garage had asked me to replace and it appeared OK. The switch is OPEN and the diode is working well. What can I do now? Is the hydraulic feed tube from the reservoir firmly fitted to the cylinder? I disturbed it and it nearly came off and was leaking but was able to push it back into place. Actually I was trying to get access to some connectors beside the cylinder when unfortunalely my hand just thumbed it out of position. Have I made my position worse? Please advise me what to do now. I am really desperate because I am on the road all the time and I do not want to get involved in an accident. At the same time, I am short of money to carry out unnecessary repairs.
