Today, I've left a deposit on my sixth SAAB. Had three 900's years ago, then bought a 9000 cse manual 2 years ago, sold it because of the mileage 6 months later, and have struggled to get into anything that "felt" the same since. Had four cars in the last year, ford, volvo, rover, NG900 (wifes got that now) but no, no, 9000 is the one for me. Hence, honey I'm home. Anyway 95 9000 cse 2.3 full turbo 70k full history, luverley. Trouble is, its auto (by choice) and I've heard such bad press, 100k new auto box required etc, Question then, are they really all that bad? and if so how much do I need to keep in the ole bank? I think this car is the dogs "b"s and i can't wait to pick it up, dodgy auto or not i'll live with it, but am i worrying too much? Any help appreciated.
