Forgot to mention that I have installed EBC GreenStuff pads. They give significantly better bite and no fade (I once had the standard Saab pads fade). I do like to drive my Aero hard.
As for discs, I am using the standard ones. If I do upgrade them, it will be for ones that aren't drilled or slotted because I don't think they are necessary, they are reputed to be noisy and also tend to be prone to cracking and warping. I might go for ATE PowerDiscs or a grey iron disc such as those made by Brembo among others.
Remember that there is little point in exceeding the grip of the tyres. Once your brakes can kick the ABS in under any conditions, there is no room for improvement. I prefer very grippy tyres - Bridgestone S-03s at the moment.
