I've done two torque arms (both ends) (One on my CSET before I sold it and one on my Aero after I got it ) within the last 30 days and on both cars I used a Sawzall or equivalent on the engine end (blade up, make sure saw is FIRMLY anchored!)to cut through the metal sleeve. I then pounded out with a large screwdriver (bend the flange a bit to further loosen) and also a large socket. It's a good idea to cover things with a towel to keep the metal filings out of your valve cover. (I removed PCV to create room). I pressed out the other end with a press and the same socket, and installed with the press also.) I'm lucky to have access to my friend's shop. He gets these special solid mounts which are split (engine end of torque arm only) and are a snap to reinstall. They just push in from each side and meet in the middle, and have a brass type bushing that runs the length of the bolt inside of the mount. I believe they are urethane, I'm not sure where he orders them from. He's out of town right now or I'd ask him, but maybe someone else is familiar with them...
Entire job took less than an hour.
