Hi,
I'm working on doing some little upgrades to my sound system ('93 900CS).
Currently I have:
Blapunkt RPD-540 head unit
http://www.blaupunktusa.com/receivers/receivers_00_RPD540.htm
Kenwood KFC-6909 6x9 3ways in the rear
http://www.kenwoodusa.com/product/product.jsp?productId=569
with the factory 4" and tweeters in the front
The head unit was professionally installed, I put in the kenwoods.
Now I want to replace the front speakers with good 2ways and am thinking about if I need an amp for the back (prefer one that would fit under the seat where the old Clarion unit is). I'd love some recommendations on:
2way 4" for the front...right now I'm looking at Kenwood-1077
http://www.kenwoodusa.com/product/product.jsp?productTypeId=44&sortBy=price&pageId=4&productId=584
and at Polk EX402a
http://www.polkaudio.com/car/specs.php?category=18&speaker=80
do I need, should I have crossovers hooked up to the front speakers? I'd want passives because I'm a dummy and the seem easier (inline sodder).
and I have no idea on an amp for the rear.
Any Guru help would be appreciated,
Jason
