So
I have repacked the oil pump with grease as indicated on the Townsend site.
I have attached a hoes to the oil filter inlet and blewe into to it --I head gargle
I poured oil in the oil pump inlent hole 9that send that oil from the pan to pump) oil flow out of the pan very easely, also I blew into it just to make sure.
When I blew into the oil filter inlet (via hose) the air from my breath came out of the external line on the top of engine, easily!
So to recap the oil flows from the pan to the pump easily, flow from the pump into the top of the engine easily.
there are new seal of the pump, (o ring, that other one and the crank shaft seal.
My only question is how does the pump work. To elaborate, does it take the oil out the pan via suction or are is the crankshaft "scooping" the oil from the pan and then somehow it ger delivered?
If someone wants to call me its 508-7917918 is MA.
I can't really move the car anywhere like a mechanic because 1. i don't want to pay that much money 2. it would cost alot for them to figure it out.
Best Regards
Roman
