there is still the occasional problem with leaks. I made the error of getting my servicing garage to fit the exhaust, while I should have used the local exhaust/tyre fitting shop, which is doing this job all the time. The leaks are normally sorted by cement / "gun gum", though this isn't pretty.
I also needed to saw off the extra thread from the clamp bolts once the Abbott springs had lowered the car 32mm.
A couple of weeks ago I took the system in for a once-over (£5 cash) and they made up an additional support near the catalyst, to stop the joints moving. If I can I'll take some happy snaps of it and post them. There is a slight extra harshness/vibration introduced by this so it may need some rubber.
Finally, my tail-pipe isn't right: it's too low and not far enough in. This needs fixing and if the system were welded I wouldn't be able to get this done.
