"Motor Imported Transmission Manual" (1980)

Today while walking in to the University of Minnesota I saw among a stack of 25 cent books a 1980 Edition of Motor Imported Transmission Manual, "Professional Service Trade Edition" The low-low price was hard to pass up So I bought two from the stack there. The table of contents is extensive, and in it I noticed that the saab transmissions listed are: Borg Warner 35/399 Front Drive and Borg Warner 37 Front Drive. Later on in the "Saab section" they discuss models 95, 96, 99, & 900 (4 and 5 speed) - only model years through 1980 though.
Its been a latent fancy of mine to rebuild a junkyard tranny for my 9000 - barring that I think it'd be fun to work on an old 900 too - how useful is this reference? I remember hearing that the 900 transmission never really changed - maybe it'd be useful for that? 9000 tranny's are ZF though, so it'd be useless there?
I'd hate for this to become a saabnet-ebay(don't ban me Scott), but if anyone wants one of these I'd send it for the cost of shipping.

ps my 9000 has been boosting like crazy lately - and that's with the vacuum line running from the charcoal cannister cracked and hanging off and the air temperature near 100F - what a great car this is.
