Schteve, I think Quasi has a '91 and the evaporator and peripherals
changed the next year. Anyway, after you remove the refrigerant
lines, you have to remove two torx screws that hold the evaporator
in place: there's one in the front middle and one right behind where
you disconnected the refrigerant lines. Also, make sure you disconnect all the electrical connectors. Now, grab hold of the
evaporator and move it to the left - away from the blower motor -
until you can grab the inside of the round end that was inserted
into the blower motor. You should be able to lift the round end
up and move the evaporator, as a whole, to the right. Once it's
moved to the right a bit, the whole unit will pop-out of there - but
it is real tight. Don't be afraid to jiggle it around and coax it out.
Once the evaporator is out, the blower motor will be free to be
removed. There are two plastic tabs that located on both sides
at the bottom. The one on your left is easy to locate. The one on
the left is obscured by wires and hoses. Make sure you have a
shop light to illuminate it, otherwise you'll never see it. I used a
long flat-head screw driver to release the right-hand tab - I just
stuck the flat blade between the tab and the catch. This enabled
me to use one hand on the left tab and the other hand to lift the
blower motor up........and voila, the blower mower will be liberated!
