solenoid looking for it's ground through the ECU. There are a lot of things that can affect boost most are natural like Baro pressure, temp, humidity, fuel state and quality, Battery voltage sensor age and conduition and the biggie is PLUGS and Plug Gap. the HOT engine with DI really need the best plug condition possible for consistant boost. Age/mileage doesn't seem to be a criteria but driving habits and fuel quality determine plug life more than anything. I am sure your car is in tip top condition but some things which one knows is often overlooked. I have had plugs which failed after lss than 5000 miles due to fuel residue. The saab is intollerant to poor plug condition.
