Dunno Mate.. everything may be over, but I doubt it.
Last year It came over me to buy myself a 9000t as we have had a 900 in the family since it was new in 84.
Went and took a serious look at an (almost) neighbour's pristine '92 9000T, with maybe 80k miles, but being Automatic I wasn't all that keen... however the poor Shmuck came up with approx $10,000 worth of paid repair bills!! (No this did not include a trans or motor rebuild) And this was a car he bought new!
Yes some people do manage to get wonderfull service from theirs, others argue that it's merely a matter of proper maintenance.. but with $10 k spent on repairs/maintenance?
Interestingly my friendly Saab guru/independant Mech (who even had a Franchise before the GM fiasco) claims 9000 are far more expensive cars to keep than 900's and repairs occur far more frequently.
Personally can't attest to that, but ask again in a couple of years ;-)
