Well a friend of mine has been using this CD player in his car just over a year now and bought it used from e-bay at like $400 or near there. New I think they're expensive(too expensive for me)at what $800 or whatever. To date I have not heard of him having any problems from the unit but I haven't asked either. I;m alkso not sur ehow much use it had befor ehe got hold of it but, it did look new when he boght it or hardly used I should say. I personally thin kNakamichi make very good products over all and I don't se how they could be selling them at their premiun prices if their stuff were junk, so the stuff has got to work I fugure, but I really don't know. Only know that at their prices it better work.....!
