I happen to have a '93 9000CS too, with a similar problem that's been driving me nuts for almost a year now. Occasionally on warm starts, about one in ten or fifteen times, the engine runs on three cylinders for a few minutes. Is it possible your "really rough idle" could be the car running on three cylinders? In my case, I know that the problem is not the DI cassette, the plugs, or dielectric grease. There are no faults sensed by Saab computers. The fuel pump is fine. The problem seems to be, and I underline seems, a failing injector--but that's just a guess. The hypothesis is that fuel is leaking into one cylinder on warm starts, but in a few seconds to a few minutes at higher RPM blows out of there, allowing the spark to continue firing. Problem is that it costs a small fortune to change the injectors. Best of luck--keep us posted!
