So nobody *really* knows for sure. I had already thought about the head gasket (almost unbearable) and the plugs/DI. I recently changed the fuel filter, but there's only that problem at start up and there is never any fuel starvation durring operation. Similarly, no smoke from the tail at all. Hmmm, guess this will be some diagnostic work this weekend.
