Hello Fellowsaabers- This weekend I plan to replace the belt,
belt tensioner, tensioner pully and the fixed pully. Parts from
Europarts. I will use Quasi excellent write-up as a guide,
thanks Quasi.
Question (1)How hard is it to replace and install Belt tensioner,
do I have to keep tensioner compressed while taking it out?
(2)Is there a recommendeded torque for the two pullys and the belt
tensioner bolts? Do I just tighten it up?
The car is a 94 9000CSE (non-turbo auto) 75,300 miles. All the above
parts still original. This time I will just mark the Crankshaft pully
per Quasi and keep an eye on it.
Thanks everyone,
RCAP
